Lila "Serilda" Bang - Secretary
I was born in Fort Smith, AR, and later lived in Tulsa, OK. Since the age of 10, I have called Mississippi my home. I am a widow, a proud mother of four sons and one daughter, and a loving grandmother to nine wonderful grandchildren.
I met my future husband at church, and we married in 1993. In 2007, we joyfully adopted our four sons.

Waikeia Bell - Assistant Secretary/Director
Waikeia “Wai” grew up in the small Southern town of Three Rivers. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Wiley Wells. Davis Chapel serves as her family’s home church, though she currently attends Church on the Rock in Pascagoula, MS, where she was baptized and committed her life to serving the Lord.
Waikeia has always been passionate about helping others, with a particular dedication to supporting the homeless community. Her compassion and commitment to service are rooted in her faith, exemplified by Matthew 25:35: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

Tyler Jackson
Born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Tyler Jackson is a dedicated community servant and experienced logistics professional with nearly two decades of service at the University of Southern Mississippi. As Warehouse Supervisor and a member of the Campus Relations Team, Tyler brings leadership, reliability, and a strong commitment to campus operations and community engagement.
Tyler’s passion for service extends far beyond his professional role. From 2005 to 2009, he led sports camps through Infinity Sports and Upward, traveling across Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, and Maryland. During this time, he also spent three summers working in Baltimore’s inner-city community of “Pigtown,” where he developed a deep commitment to serving marginalized and overlooked populations.
In 2010, Tyler founded Love 25:40, an outreach initiative that traveled to New Orleans biweekly to serve 150 to 250 individuals experiencing homelessness, offering essential supplies, prayer, and conversation. That same year, he began serving locally in Hattiesburg through a grassroots effort that grew into Meet You There—an organization that provides temporary shelter and connects individuals with long-term support services to help them build more sustainable futures.
Tyler is a devoted father to a 13-year-old son and continues to lead with compassion, purpose, and a deep sense of responsibility to those around him.
